What Happens if the $SysReset Folder is Deleted in Windows 11

Introduction:
In this article we will examine what happens to Windows 11 when deleting the $SysReset folder from the C: drive.

1. First, we will go to the partition of drive where Windows was installed. In 99% of the cases, it would be the c:\ drive.

2. It seems that this folder can be deleted directly from within Windows.
3. We shall right-click on the $SysReset to open the side menu and click on the Delete button.

1. After deleting the folder, we will restart Windows.

5. As you can see, Windows 11 boots up normally without any issue and it seems the $SysReset was recreated by Windows.

1. We shall delete it again and reboot Windows once more.

7. It seems Windows starts normally without any issue.
