Introduction:
In this article we will explore the ability of Windows 11 to boot up with its Program Files Folder deleted entirely.
1. First, we locate the folder, make sure it’s there. As you can see below.

2. Since this folder cannot be deleted entirely from within Windows itself, we will do it via an external OS. In this case we will use Hiren’s BootCD PE (HBCD) (https://www.hirensbootcd.org/ )






4. After the deletion process is done, we reboot HBCD back into Windows 11




5. As you can see, Windows 11 has now entered an infinite boot loop and cannot start up normally.
Conclusion:
Deleting the Program Files folder from Windows 11 would definitely cause damage to the operating system and would render it unable to boot up and start up.
